Each house is built
from dead standing Engleman Spruce and lodgepole pine trees. Douglas fur beams
are sometimes used for ridge beams for strength. We produce 6” to 12” Swedish
coped logs for building with saddle notched corners.
Our log packages come
complete with logs to build home, cabin, or lodge. Spikes or screws, log
sealant tape, ¾” dowels for splices, caulking for corners. If needed,
loft floor joist, roof ridge beams and purlans, log railings and
stairs. Floor plans, stacking plans, some areas with strict building
codes, may have to have plans approved by local authorities and zoning
boards.
TPI Grading is
available all logs are mill graded to meet wall log 40 or better and
most are of premium and select grade. We feel that log quality is of
the greatest importance in a log home that will last for a lifetime. We
do not supply anything that we would not put in our own home and be
proud to show it off.
We sell both log
packages and complete packages from the ground up. Most common building
materials are purchased locally (ie. doors, windows, floor joist and
roofing) giving home owner or contractor full warranty and additional
savings on shipping costs from Darby, MT. No markup is charged on
products that are purchased locally.
